In pool 2 UTSC won with 12 points (13 goals – 4 against), runner up was Oman National Jr. Team with 9 points (17 goals – 3 against).

The semi final between Oman Sr. and Oman Jr. Was won by Oman sr. with 4-2. The other semi final between Coorg and UTSC was won by Coorg with 6-3. These matches were both thrilling matches. The final between Oman Sr. and Coorg was won by Oman Sr. with 2-0. The Oman National Team sr. were the first team to win the Omantel Hockey Cup. Coorg ended second and UTSC third beating Oman with 3-1.

The Fair Play Team award went to Muscateers-1. The Best Player of the tournament award (men) went to Aimen from the UTSC Team, for the women it went to Simone van Gils.  Around 90 players and 120 visitor came to the tournament. With 106 goals the matches were very exciting to watch.

The tournament was concluded at the RAHRC with a Mongolian BBQ. We hope that hockey has received another boost and hope to attend and organise more of these events in the future. Many  thanks also to the OHA referees, PDO school, the security, the club, the administration, to caterers, the BSM school to borrow goals and Kutappa from Coorg to help them transporting and all volunteers. A special nice piece of work were the wooden planks alongside the field from Larsen Toubro, and the netting in between the back to back goals, a Muscateers design!
